What you'll need:

What you do:

1. Measure the length of the bottom of your shorts and double the length of fabric to cut. You can leave about a 1/2 inch extra just to be safe.

2. Turn your shorts inside out. Start pinning the lace fabric strip along the edge of the short with just a little lace or scallop peeking through.

3. You can either hand sew along the edge of the lace/crochet fabric that you are using, or if you have a sewing machine, sew along bottom edge of short {just where it start to fray to hide the stitching as much as possible}.

4. Remove pins and turn shorts right side out. And there you have it, a cute pair of {re}newed Summer shorts!
