hi there! veronika from tick tock vintage here. as most of you know, i had the awesome opportunity to take a little trip to michigan to visit tieka last week. she lives in such a beautiful town, and i thought i'd share some of my favorite pictures from the trip.
her little town is right on the coast of lake michigan; the sun setting on the lake was one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. doesn't the picture above look like a postcard? i was tempted to write "wish you were here!" on it, har har.
this was the first time i've actually seen a lighthouse up close and personal; this one was at the end of a long pier at the edge of the lake. 
we went to east lansing to have lunch with maria before her big move to minneapolis. please excuse my wrinkly shorts!
i'm absolutely enamored with the houses in grand haven - this kelly green one was one of my favorites. i don't think i saw one house that i wouldn't happily live in. they were all so well kept up!
we stopped on the (very windy) beach after riding around on scooters all afternoon.
i loved this little movie theater turned restaurant on the main street of grand haven.
we had a little date night; we walked on the pier, visited the musical fountain, and stopped for coffees. tres romantique, no?
the fog on the lake looked so pretty right before sunset.
this trip was also the first time that i've ever been on a scooter, too! tieka's pretty dress kept popping up in the mirror.

Yep, you captured Grand Haven! It's so beautiful there. I grew up in Holland a few miles south, and nothing beats a beach town!
